I’ve been a mommy for 6 whole months now! The days are just flying by and I am just trying my best to soak in all of these moments. We are constantly exploring different items. I have come across some I love and some that I completely dislike or that just don’t work for us. I will be sharing each month my “Mommy Monthly Favorites.” This month I won’t share any accessories as I have a post that will be published to catered to our favorite accessories.
My baby has very sensitive skin and has eczema. After using this treatment, Giselle’s skin is always softer and her irritation is relieved. It is hypoallergenic and fragrance free. It’s a powder that forms a milky bath and naturally cleanses without soap. It’s natural and contains oatmeal, which helps restore the skin’s normal pH and to maintain the skin’s moisture barrier. It also comes in individual packets so it’s good for on the go. The bath treatment costs about $4.99.
I bought these individual pots to store any baby food I make for Giselle and I really like them. You can clip them together for stacking and storing. I can also freeze baby food in them. They are microwave and dishwasher friendly. They come in 3 different sizes so they are perfect for any portion you may want. I usually just make Giselle’s baby food in my food processor and store it in these colorful containers. I plan on using these to store baby’s snacks in a couple of months as well. Each pack brings 6 containers for about $5.99 so I grabbed two packs and will be buying more very soon.
I have a couple of bowls for Giselle but this one is my favorite because of the snap in spoon. You snap the spoon on the lid and that’s it. It’s perfect for storage and travel. This bowl is “easy to go,” just like it’s called. It has suction on the bottom so the bowl isn’t moving everywhere while trying to feed the baby. It’s also microwave safe.
I was very skeptical of these cookie like wafers for my daughter at first because I was so scared of her choking but I read they were great to help with her teething pain. I bought them in pumpkin & banana and Giselle loves them. She hasn’t choked on them because they dissolve very easily. They are made with wholegrain and real fruits and veggies so it’s a perfect “first” snack for babies. It is certified organic as well. Giselle really enjoys these wafers. They come in individual packets so I always carry at least one packet in my diaper back for when I see that she’s fussy because of her gums. I got these for less than $4.00 at Target.
I’m always looking for things to help Giselle’s sensitive skin. I’ve tried several different diaper creams and this one has been the one that I’ve seen most results with. Just like it says, I did see improvement in just one diaper change. I feel like this works even better than the creams that have been prescribed to us. It has vitamin b5 and E to soothe irritated skin. I like that it goes on smoothly so gentle to put on but also gentle to wipe off for baby’s comfort.
As previously mentioned, I’ll be sharing my favorite items each month. I hope that this guides mommies or friends of mommies maybe needing something similar or just serves as ideas for gifts for mommies. What products have you tried lately that you or your children absolutely love? I would love to hear about different ones! If you have any recommendations or remedies for eczema or sensitive skin please share in comments.
